Why are our rates low?
As we have already mentioned, there is a noticeable difference in rates between the Spanish and English translation markets. What in Spain is an average rate, turns into a very low rate in English-speaking countries. On the other hand, as we have also mentioned, we do not live off other people’s translations, which allows both you and us to save on the extra mediation costs. Moreover, as we are dealing with an international transaction, VAT is not applied. As you can see, there are only advantages. All of this allows us to offer such interesting rates in comparison to English translation agencies, as well as additionally guarantying greater quality and speed.

CALCULATE HOW MUCH THE TRANSLATION WILL COST IN ADVANCE

If you have the original digital document (Word), open it, and click on the “Tools” icon (normally in the menu bar at the top of your screen), and in this drop-down menu click on “Word Count” (don’t forget to tick the “Include footnotes and final notes” box). You will thus know the document’s number of words, which if multiplied by the corresponding rate, will give you the translation’s approximate cost.
 
If the original document is on paper or in formats which cannot be opened in Word (protected PDFs), you must send it to us by Fax and we will calculate an estimate for you.

All estimates are obviously free, non-committal, and negotiable.

3 easy steps to commission your translation:

1. Send us the text
To be able to give you an estimate, you must first send us the document that you wish to translate to our email info@aeiou-traductores.com. In your email do not forget to include your name (and your company’s name), telephone and fax numbers, mailing and email addresses, and if you have a definite or desired submission date.

2. We send you the estimate
As soon as we receive your text, we will email you (generally in a few minutes) an official written estimate, detailing the rate, the approximate cost and submission time and the payment conditions*. If you have any doubts about or objections to the estimate, do not hesitate to contact us personally to clarify and negotiate the terms of the contract. We believe that person-to-person communication solves many problems and clarifies any doubts that may arise, generates trust and improves the quality of the work and the results.
 
3. Confirm that you accept the estimate
If you accept the estimate, all you have to do is email us confirmation. Do not forget to include invoicing details (VAT number / taxpayer identification number, full address). Let us deal with everything else, we will start translating immediately. You will receive your translation within the established deadline by email.
